ShareMedia provides extended team consulting to help ministries increase listenership and revenue and become more effective in their outreach.
Our consulting services begin with an initial comprehensive assessment undertaken by SMS consultant(s). From that assessment, an action plan including action steps and a detailed retainer proposal will be generated. The station will have the option of managing the action plan internally with their own staff and consultants. Or if they choose, they will work with SMS who will provide a specified list of services set forth in a detailed and customized retainer proposal along with a lead account executive.

All processes and services described below may be customized to fit the needs and complexity of your organization. 1. Assessment Study: Conducted under the guidance of an SMS consultant, your assessment may include some or all of the items listed below. Additional items may also be included. A summary report with specific feedback will be submitted. • Analysis of station history in market, ownership and leadership structure, financial past, and current staff structure. • Format/Programming analysis • Community involvement/activities overview • Donor Relations: Detailed examination of donor activities - past, present, and projected. This would include major donor efforts, donor tracking systems in place, and how donors are communicated with throughout the year. • Review of current fund raising plan. One year plan. Five year plan. • Understanding of all income sources other than direct donor income such as underwriting, program fees, etc. • Staff development/training • Custom focus on other areas of specific concern by station management 2. Action Plan: Create a written Action Plan that includes Action Steps. 3. Proposal: A customized proposal for a one year retainer agreement based on the Action Plan and Action Steps will be prepared and presented to you. Elements of this proposal could include some or all of the following.
